StockPortal exists because the software we needed didn’t. Enterprise WMS platforms were too expensive and too generic; lightweight tools couldn’t handle multi-tenant clients, FEFO across split lots or the awkward edges of international shipping. So in 2017 we started building v1.0 — the platform we wished we had — and we’ve been refining it on our own warehouse floor ever since.

It started with stock
StockPortal v1.0 began as a stock-handling system for our own warehouse — locations, goods-in and accurate, real-time on-hand. The foundation everything else is built on.

Web orders & beauty clients
We added full web order processing and began fulfilling ecommerce orders for a number of beauty brands — turning a stock system into a true order-fulfilment platform.

FEFO & food
Lot-level inventory, batch and best-before tracking and FEFO picking arrived as we expanded into food and short-life products — where accuracy and traceability are non-negotiable.
